What was your favorite "Beloved" item from when you where a kid??

This is actually Andy number 2 (in the photo)..... The first Andy was lost in the Great Washing Machine incident of 09.
Both Andy's are a Bicentennial and made by Knickerbocker.
The first Andy was a Gift from my Dad to my Birth Mother (she passed when I was 3mos. old) then passed to me and very VERY much loved.
He went to collage with me was in my wedding and at the birth of all of my children BUT then my Oldest son fell in love with him and breathed new life into him. ♥ Then one day as I was doing the laundry I realized he had accidentally gotten mixed in with it and had just fallin apart in the wash. I was a very sad day.....
A few months after that I meet a wonderful lady selling some of her collection of Ann's and Andy's. I was not looking to replace Andy but to just find a New friend for my son. She love how much I loved them and could see how much they meant to us that she end up giving us 5 doll at no charge. My son was on cloud 9 to have a new friend. I had told here while I was there about the Andy we had lost and while it could never really ever be replaced I would love to have one again. I did find out from here that the the one I had was not easy to fin but she took my address and told me she would let me know if she ever saw one.
Then a few months later I got a package in the mail and wrapped with love inside was Andy!!♥ She had found him at a doll convention and just pick it up for me! I was so excited!! And was home and the new Andy sits safely on a shelf but still get pulled down if I need a snuggle. ♥
